Preview limits

The preview is for early testers. These are the gaps you’re most likely to hit, and what to do about each one. Roadmap says what comes next.

Azu’s built-in interface is in English. It doesn’t route its strings through AdonisJS i18n yet, and there’s no panel-wide locale setting.

Your own labels show as you write them: resource, field, column, and action labels, and your validators’ messages. They don’t translate Azu’s buttons, status messages, or counts.

Dates and numbers are formatted with Intl, but that isn’t full translation.

Until i18n lands, a fully translated admin needs your own component overrides or published pages.

Azu links file and image fields with Drive’s getUrl(), which suits public disks only. Private disks and signed, expiring URLs (getSignedUrl()) aren’t supported yet.

Uploads covers the rest.

On the Vue kit, the admin has no hot reload in dev, so an edit reloads the page. npm run typecheck doesn’t check the admin’s TSX either. Tracked in #66.

A search matching nearly every row of a huge table is slower than the rest of the list. It’s about 250 ms at p95 on 100,000 rows, against a 200 ms target. Tracked in #67.

Searches that narrow the list stay fast. On Postgres, add trigram indexes as Columns and lists describes.

The API kit has no browser sign-in, so the panel can’t work there yet. See Starter kits.
